Congratulations on your pregnancy!

A bit about me:

I became a birth professional before having my own family, as I have always had an extraordinarily
strong calling to work and support women and families on their parenting journey!
My family and I are living in Bournemouth, in 2018 we welcomed our first child, she is our ‘not so
little’ Hypnobirthing child.
Compassion is at the heart of my Doula support and the goal is to empower women to approach
pregnancy, labour, birth and motherhood with confidence and trust in their innate abilities!

My professional development timeline in the UK:
– 2011 Nurturing Birth Doula training
– 2013 UWE Midwifery training
– 2016 HypnoBirthing training
In 2018 I launched my business The Science of Birth
– 2020 NALP legal training
– 2023 Biomechanics for Birth training
In 2023 I introduced new courses to my programme and launched the Womanly Art of Birth

A little bit about the Womanly Art of Birth
I aim to support women to regain their power over the bio-psycho-social and cultural health of
womanhood, “birth-hood” and motherhood!
When I work with women and families as a Doula, I mainly get praised for my knowledge and for my
ability to stand up for them and empower them during one of the most vulnerable life events, that
labour and birth are for us.
I have worked with a wide range of clients as a Doula, i.e. first- and second-time mums; mums who
were choosing to have an elective section; home birthing first-time families; mums who were

choosing to have a vaginal birth after a previous caesarean section; women struggling with anxiety
and severe birth trauma; women with pre-existing medical conditions and so on.
Many clients often chose me to be their doula because I am versed in understanding national
guidelines and hospital policies with the added benefit of being able to navigate these waters.
As a birth Doula, I aim to meet with my clients twice a month during pregnancy and of course, I will
be present at your labour and birth.
As a postnatal Doula, I will be there for you to fully support you as and when you require.
Bonuses, my Doula clients can benefit from:
exclusive access to my mini library; hypnobirthing; biomechanics support for pregnancy and birth to
reduce labour dystocia; in-depth perinatal physiology knowledge; belly dancing and other
techniques that facilitate the feminine flow of life.

I’m up for a bubbly (of course, tea!), a beach walk, a smoothie, or a cake to talk about all things”
womanly”.
I love meeting with expecting families for a chat! Book an appointment with me to see if we are the
right fit for each other.
