Last Updated: 29 June 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Dorset Doulas (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By accessing or using dorset-doulas.co.uk, creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.
2. About Dorset Doulas
Dorset Doulas operates an online directory that helps users find doulas, practitioners, events, classes, and related services.
We provide a platform only and do not provide medical, healthcare, counselling, or professional services ourselves.
3. Membership Eligibility
Membership is available to approved practitioners and doulas aged 18 or over.
We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate applications where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity, security, reputation, or lawful operation of the Dorset Doulas platform.
4. Membership Subscriptions
Membership is available by subscription. The applicable subscription fee, billing frequency, and membership benefits are displayed before you complete your purchase and can be viewed at any time within your account’s subscription management page.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Dorset Doulas to automatically renew your subscription at the applicable billing interval using your chosen payment method until you cancel.
Membership benefits remain available while your subscription is active and your account remains in good standing.
5. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Square.
By making a payment, you also agree to Square’s applicable terms and conditions.
Dorset Doulas does not store or process your full payment card details directly. Payments are securely processed by Square in accordance with applicable PCI DSS security standards.
We are not responsible for errors, failures, or interruptions caused by Square or its services.
6. Automatic Renewals
Unless cancelled before the next billing date, subscriptions renew automatically at the applicable billing interval using your chosen payment method.
It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details remain accurate and up to date.
We will provide renewal reminders where required by applicable law and may also send reminder emails as a courtesy.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and navigating to Dashboard → Subscriptions.
Cancellation prevents future renewal payments but does not affect the current subscription period. Your membership will remain active until the end of your current paid subscription period unless terminated in accordance with these Terms.
8. Refunds
If you purchase a subscription online, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate access to your membership benefits and acknowledge that the service begins immediately. If you cancel during the 14-day cooling-off period, any refund may be reduced to reflect the value of the services already provided, where permitted by law.
After the applicable cooling-off period, subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for the current subscription period.
9. Directory Listings
Members are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate, current, and lawful.
We reserve the right to edit, remove, or refuse any listing that:
