Hi, I'm Tamsin — the person behind Super Doula in Bournemouth.

I'm a birth doula, and I'm just as interested in protecting your wellbeing as I am your baby's. My support comes from connection, trust, and a deep belief in your own intuition — because the safer and more held you feel, the more empowered you become through pregnancy and birth.

I became a doula because I don't like being told what to do — and through the births of my own children I realised I didn't need anyone there. I could do it alone. That knowing changed everything for me, and it's what brought me to this work.

I work with evidence and instinct side by side. Alongside birth support, I offer freebirth preparation for women exploring birth outside the system, reiki during pregnancy and birth to help with stress and balance, Closing the Bones ceremonies to honour the physical and emotional journey of postpartum, and rebozo techniques for comfort in pregnancy and labour.

I'm also part of the Birth Free Collective — a group of doulas who believe in holding women in their power and genuinely advocating for freedom in birth.

Outside of birth work, animals and the great outdoors are my happy place. Family adventures with my dogs and ponies, living by the sea near the New Forest, coffee, cake, good company and the occasional binge-worthy box set — these are the things that fill my cup.
